An avid and lifelong naturalist, Frederick Rowe Davis studied the history of science at Harvard, the University of Florida, and Yale, where he completed his doctorate. Currently, he is Assistant Professor of History at Florida State University.
Look for new materials providing superior durability. But there's lots to learn by reading this book. So glad I ordered.. I understand he has another book, self-published, just on the design and invention aspects and I hope to get that book also. This deserves best-seller status and probably will never get it, because it is seen as a business book, instead of its greatest power - to motivate ordinary folks, like he was, to perservere against all viciousness and make a personal dream into a bustling reality. He has invented and introduced several products to the world.
