Each of these women's journeys was at times painful, always heart wrenching, and always written in her individual voice. But my emotions are just not very much involved in it. It's amazing to me that anyone still buys an Evanovich book. Market and manufacture it yourself. How many worthless books does an author have to produce before devoted fans stop buying?? I stopped after Plum Spooky. When I saw another book with these two, I pre-ordered it. Which means Lannes' home, and there Lannes finds out there is more to Lissa than being a dragon. Hm - the official Amazon description is a bit weird, but the rest of the reviews are apt. So much history on the Texas Rangers that I just did not know how they lived back then.
