Although this book is not simple to read and is very comprehensive, it is an excellent introduction to understanding organisations (yes, just like the title).
The book consists of three parts. It's got just about everything you could want in a book like this-- constant tension punctuated with moments of action, frustrating (and frustrated) interpersonal relationships, a desperately bleak outlook on what it means to be American in the post-9/11 age, and above all, solid writing skills to get everything across in the most effective way possible. He fought back with therapy, research, and medication, and slowly got it back under control. Very good. In the true spirit of Kurt Vonnegut, Ken Wheaton's new book Bacon and Egg Man is a funny, satirical ride through a not too distant future where political correctness and media-think are all encompassing. I bought this collection hoping to find something I could comfortably sing at a Catholic friend's wedding. I would have liked more about
