Dianne Bergant, CSA is Distinguished Professor of Old Testament Studies at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. She served as president of the Catholic Biblical Association of America in 2000-01 and has been a member of the Chicago Catholic/Jewish Scholars Dialogue for more than 25 years. Her many publications include Preaching the New Lectionary,volumes A, B, & C (Liturgical Press) and A Word for Every Season,years A, B& C (Paulist Press). She is presently working in the areas of biblical interpretation and biblical theology, particularly on issues of peace, ecology, and feminism.
